Can't Handle it!! (Friday No.4 [A real one])

Well told you it wouldn't be long! I'm bored of the holidays already, I suppose I should get organised and do some of that homework so kindly given me!!

I'm thinking I wouldn't mind doing some lead climbing tonight, only I'm pretty tired from going running last night. Did several laps of a field close by where I live, then at the end of each lap I did 20 press-ups, mmmm... yup... that would account for the sore muscles! Should bode well for a good work out tonight as well!!

Will probably take my Camera tonight, see if I cant try some shots, will definitely take my tripod as my Camera isn't so good on the night shots and needs a slow shutter speed, can't remember what speed film I've got either..... Oh well will try anyhow!

This holiday stinks!
At least I'm listening to End of Fashion, one plus to the day!!!
I think that we should all boycott pseudo holidays, that is to say we should have real ones instead!!

Chao!

Kiwi - You know my hands are sore from all the beers I had to open last night. Man....

Neo stretches his fingers.

I might have to put some ice on these.

LOL

Actually i'm confused. What are you considering a holiday?

Is it the weekend? Or some sort of other occasion?

Come on now, ya gotta fill us in on what "a real holiday" is for ya!

For me it's a free day with nothing to do but hang out with family people, like going to an ocean beach and loafing about, tossin frizbee, or swimming, and eating a BBQ meal.
When I was in univ. I always had massive work like 10-pagers to get done before classes started again.

What would yA rather do?

Well, Robert thanks for the heads up on the Correct spelling ;p
Holidays are fun, yet not so much when you have a project to complete and also a calculus assignment, so much fun so little time:) .... No the real problem is that I'm on holiday and most of my friends (all of them) arn't!!

Hey thanks Sis for the post, I have managed to recover from the rock climbing, although I must admit we went a bit crazy and did a run afterwards!!

Neo - Your a crack up, think that I've got something that will help those sore fingers!! Just get one of those finger strength spring thingy's!! It'l help!! As for the holidays, I've got, or had two weeks off Uni cos its a scheduled break from school routine! Sounds not so bad eh? But true the weekend is my true holiday:)

Snaggle - I would rather be in Europe getting lost on some random streets :) OR as you have pointed out at the beach having an awesome BBQ, but that would involve some sun, and on this holiday there is just a sad overcast sky!!...... What else, I would LOVE to be climbing perhaps in France or maybe the US, getting on a massive rock face and getting some stunning pictures to prove it!!! :)

Kiwi- just wanted to get this straight in my mind...I'm confused.
When you have days off, are those considered "holidays"? Do you have (what we call) "vacations"?
I've heard Europeans, et al, refer to vacation as their "holiday" time, but were not sure if you used the term "vacation".

As for the religious panhandlers, I do sympathize immensely. They are allowed to peddle their books and paraphanalia right up to your front door in America... and I've had many! (Yes, I believe in God and no I don't need someones book to tell me how or why). I believe, like you, it's a very personal relationship.

Ellen - Yeah we have days off which are called holidays, and my uni year is basically broken up into four terms, two per semester. Between each term there is a two week 'break', which you could call a holiday or vacation, we call them mid-semester break(one which I'm on now). Between the semester is a three week break (semester break) and at the end of the year we have like 2 months or more break over Christmas (YAY summertime:)
Hope that wasn't too confusing!?

Thanks and Amen, good to hear that your faith is strong and doesn't need Man's faulty wisdom to 'perfect'!

Thanks, Kiwi. No, that wasn't confusing at all. To restructure your schedule in the US, it would be something like this: time off from school is considered "break",
Christmas day is considered a
"holiday", and any time off around it (if you are not in school) is
considered "vacation". We Americans have so many terms to so many simple things, eh?
Also- I keep forgetting that you
are on the other side of the world from us... so I need to rethink things in opposite for time and seasons. (Christmas is celebrated in our winter season while you have your summer season there).
