Sorry for the long wait between posts :(
Alrighty then, I've out doing a few things recently, namely getting into some more climbing, and a little photography though thats a bit of a sore topic right at this moment. (will explain later)
I thought I'd appease all of you who are getting tired of looking at the same post everyday with this Photograph. Its a rock wall, or face, that I have climbed. If you wish to see the pics of me climbing they are on the ohter site (sneaky hey!!)
Its heaps of fun and I love the outdoor climbing, its way different than indoor stuff. I didn't find it too difficult, till we started to try and climb the really small crack and not the larger one. Anyway the fun part is when you have to 'set up' the route, there is at the top of the cliff a bolt into which you fix a carabiner or Quick draw to then attach a rope. To get there to do this, we found the safest way is to belay from the top and then set it up and then to belay down to the ground! All fun and games I can assure you!!
Back to the tragic events in the last two days, I was talking to a friend and had felt encouraged to enter a photographic competition. So I thought I would go through my gear and clean it, make sure its all ok. Well I pulled apart my large 600mm lens to clean it. Now I CANT get it back together again. Its got Humpty Dumpty syndrome!! Its honestly like a rubics cube, its got to go a certain way for it all to fit together! Well I'm not gonna let it beat me, It just makes me feel stink cos I really like the lens and I don't want to think I wrecked it!!
Till next time, hopefully I can get some cheerful news about said lens.
Cheers,
David
