The Jelly Tip!!!
JELLY TIP
Jelly Tip, a special tipped treat that's chilled the teeth of millions of Kiwis, has been the darling of ice creams for over 50 years. A delicious piece of Kiwiana, New Zealanders have munched their way through 150 million Jelly Tip ice cream since its creation in 1951.
The Jelly Tip was dreamed up by a team of creative-minded chemists who were briefed to develop an ice cream children could eat when out and about. The creative team did look overseas to see what was happening there, but wanted a New Zealand creation. Jelly Tip is truly a Kiwi-born innovation
The mix of creamy vanilla ice cream, tipped with a raspberry flavoured jelly, and encased in a chocolate coating is as popular today as it was 50 years ago, and has helped Jelly Tip to remain one of the top ten novelty ice creams.
Okay so that was the marketing pitch, but they also make it in tubs and its vanilla ice cream with bits of chocolate and big swirls of Jelly all over the place, man my mouth is watering thinking about it!! Its awsome ice cream to eat, you can be sneaky and get the jelly out and less vanilla but the bits of chocolate make it worth while to get the vanilla ice cream.
YUM!
Hope that explained it?
As far as brands of Ice cream I like Movenpick, and Killenchy Gold, they both make superb ice cream!!
Merry Christmas Guys and Girls, my God Bless you over this season of enjoyment and relaxation! :)
